Route 3 – Don’t help her

        With a heavy heart you decide to leave her here. Your life is in danger and you don’t want to risk anything. You somehow feel that if you help her, the killer will come back and when you have the choice to save her life or your own, you choose yours. You don’t even know her and you are afraid of dying. Not to mention the possible torture. On top of that, you think of your family’s suffering – not only at your loss, but also financially if you were no longer there. Even if you were to untie her, you wouldn’t even know if she could walk and she would only hinder your escape. Guiltily you squint your eyes and turn away from the girl. You run up the small staircase to the only door in the room and try to open it carefully and quietly. To no avail. It is locked. Desperately you take a step back. You could have guessed that. You look at the axe in your hands and think that you could probably break down the door with it to get out of here. But the noise it makes might alert the killer. You look around the room and your eyes fall on the torture tools. There might be something in there that you can use to open the door. But there is no guarantee and rummaging through the instruments would take a lot of time again. Nervously you look back and forth as precious seconds pass. One wrong decision could cost you your life.
