Prolog I
Yin-Yang Era
A time that no one remembers but everyone knows that it existed. Many years have passed since and records of that time describe it as golden era. But it’s been tainted with blood because of fights and tragically found its end.
There has been a god of light and a goddess of darkness who maintained the worlds balance and supported the people. Through unknown factors it came to a fight between the two gods that split mankind. People chose their sides without the gods telling them to which lead to a terrible war between volks. That again lead to an apocalypse in which half of all mankind died and the memories of the surviving were erased.
Records show that before the apocalypse there was a “sun” and a “moon” in the sky that made a day and night cycle. The gods have never been seen since that bis apocalypse.
Noxastrum Vitae (Source of Life)
Some sort of black tornado that’s up in the sky. The world turns slowly around it in a years cycle – just as it turned around the “sun” back in the Yin-Yang era. The world itself spins too so Noxastrum Vitae is only visible during daytime. It fulfills its purpose at night too but it is weaker.
Addition
Chapter 4:
“Noxastrum Vitae” is in the yin-yang language and literally means
“night star of life”. Noxastrum Vitae consists of Umbraurore and is
even the origin of this power. New Umbraurore is produced there and old is
processed. When a body dies, all life force and soul emerge from it, atomize
into microscopic particles, which are no longer visible to the naked eye, and
rise to the Night Star of Life. There the Umbraurore is regenerated and
processed, splits again and returns to earth or regenerates souls or forms new
souls for newborn life.

Chromastars
Stars around the source of life. They shine in many colours of the rainbow and brighten up the day.
Addition chapter 4: In itself the glow of chromastars would be coloured, but it does not come to it, because the glow brings the true GiS/FP to the appearance and therefore the environment is not “illuminated” by the coloured glow, but only the true colours come to the appearance. Thus chromastars shine, but their coloured glow has no influence on the environment. The glow of the chromastars gives warmth, thus days are warmer than nights. Fire, light and other types of glow, on the other hand, dye the environment in their colours.

Prolog II
Darkness
Darkness doesn’t always mean black and dark. The darkness that the gods made at the end of the yin-yang era works different than the darkness before. There are now two kinds. Pure darkness glows and doesn’t change everything’s colour to black but brings forth the true colour of the GiS/FP of everything and everyone. In the GiS/FP of everything is decided what colour it truly has. Therefore, we could see it as some sort of black ‘sun’, if we relate to the yin-yang era. We also got this black sun in form of the Noxastrum Vitae. Darkness is transported by Umbraurore, and Chroma stars activate that. You can only see Umbraurore in very dense concentration, otherwise it will just blend in with the colours of its surroundings. It becomes part of its environment, except for its being used for magic, in that case it takes over the FP of the magic.
night/shadow
This is the second form of darkness. Comparable with the darkness in the yin-yang era. Parts that are being covered or cut off the Noxastrum Vitae, for example by clouds or by buildings, gain less Umbraurore supply and its true colour can’t come out that strong. Because of these shadows and darkness is the result in some places like caves or basements. The night also works like this.
There is still Umbraurore, but we remember that it can’t show the true colour of the GiS/FP without a dense concentration or the shine of the Chroma stars. Umbraurore is not touchable, except for its being corrupted and transforms into a demon in dense concentration.
Fire and water are different due to their GiS/FP. Fire can be created with the help of Umbraurore. It consumes Umbraurore close by to glow. Umbraurore turns dense then, and just like a little Chroma star it binds darkness and starts glowing, which brings forth the true colour of its DNA. There you go having the yellowish orange fire.
Water is a strong concentration too, but not strong enough to glow or produce heat. It supplies bodies and nature with Umbraurore for their metabolism. Umbraurore is like oxygen for life in Terrenox Libertia.
light
A relic of the yin-yang era. It destroys Umbraurore and poisons/changes the structure of Lumenium. It’s glaring white, casts shadows and weakens the humans since they are being robbed of their Umbraurore. In dense concentration light can even force its way into a body and destroy the soul. That would kill a person or at least kill their consciousness and all body functions. Light works totally different than this world allows since it should have never been discovered again. People found out how to create light after finding some old record of the yon-yang eras war.
chromashine/chromalamps
Artificial chromashine results due to a concentrated gathering of Umbraurore in an object since you can’t create pure darkness from nothing. With the help of latest research methods stones and light bulbs are being used for this. They bundle up Umbraurore and it makes the object glow. Next to artificial chromashine there is still pure chromashine which can be found in form of stones from mines or from fallen chromastars.
Chapter 1
clouds
Clouds come in light colours / pastel colours. Since water has an almost transparent-blue GiS/FP and can reflect things, clouds also have this feature partly. They don’t have their own colour and due to that they reflect colours of their environment and those of the chromastars above them. So, its common that clouds come in blueish and rainbow-colours. But only in small amounts of intensity, since water has almost no colour / is almost transparent. The more clouds pile up the darker the colours in their environment due to lack of Umbraurore. So, thunderclouds are mostly dark blue to black because of the density and environment.
Lightning
Lightnings are Umbraurore that comes up due to a reaction that happens when two different clouds rub against each other. Clouds are mostly made of Umbraurore but water also contents Lumenium (except for magic). Much Lumenium gets lost whilst evaporating and so clouds are mostly made of Umbraurore. Lightnings glow in rainbow colours as long as there are chroma stars to be seen, because they do have a FP and are unlike pure Umbraurore colourful and not black. Should there be no chroma shine on the lightnings they are, like everything in that case, black. Lightnings have different colours depending on the FP, but they are always bright and saturated or black. They don’t reflect chroma colours unlike clouds.
chroma candles
Things to light the dark with. These candles have a wick, which contains chroma fragments. Because of this they can enlighten the dark in combination with fire / bring up the GiS/FP. Most chroma candles have got normal fire (yellowish orange) but due to the quantity of chroma fragments in the wick the fire can vary and its getting hotter the more fragments there are. Chroma candles are mostly made of artificial chroma fragments and are cheap so that even poor people can afford them.
fire (without magic)
You can create fire from rubbing two fire stones or fire wood against each other. The warmth that builds up causes a chemical reaction, which draws Umbraurore particles together (similar to lightnings) and converts them into fire FP. Fire needs an Umbraurore providing ground or thing to burn, for example wood or a candle wick. In wood there is a part Umbraurore within, since plants grow and live too.
Excidoma Magna
The capital city of Luminastrelle and at the same time also of the entire planet. Still, the city has a limited number of residents due to the strict entry conditions. Its being reigned by a king. Excidoma Magna is also a nature phenomenon – a giant, yet stabile stone podium – and its separated in uppercity and undercity. On top of the stone platform there live the rich and middle-class people, in the undercity, which is built into the stone pillar and around it, live the poor. Only the undercity has to pay taxes to the king. To afford those and a somehow hunger free life many of the citizens of the undercity cultivate fields, which they built inside the fenced in city. The harvest will be sold on the market.
Excidoma Magna is also the main location of the light knights.
The uppercity residents are allowed to use an elevator to get to the foot of the stone podium, the undercity folk has to walk up the stairs, since they don’t have an Identification entry, let alone a identification document. They are basically trapped inside the undercity. They are only allowed to ascend on special occasions like market days.
gis
Genetic identifiable structure. All things, bodies and physical elements are made of Lumenium. (See entry Lumenium) The GiS is similar to the DNA and describes the genes of things and how their cells are built. They also determine which form, colour, how heavy, etc. something is.
FP
Frequency particles. Everything that lives has Umbraurore flowing through its body and magic consists of Umbraurore particles. The FP describes the so-called Frequency, ich which the magic or the Umbraurore is located, which again describes the kind of magic or of the Umbraurore, for example fire or water or even the soul of a being, etc. The FP also determines colour and strength of the Umbraurore. Every FP is unique – for example fire magic can’t hurt its creator, but it will hurt an other person and fire magic meeting another fire magic will cause repelling reaction and has different strength, that depend on their creator.
light knights
An organisation that is located worldwide. They are in charge of in their opinion “law and order” and they will implement these at all costs. They are serving the king who gives them commands and they have a so-called summit, which consists of the ruler of every continent. Every continent has a ruler who gives orders and rules for the knights in their command. Officially announced there are five rulers. The light knights are more or less like a government.
Addition Chapter 4: All knights must take an oath to honour the God of Light and to carry out the orders given to them in good conscience for the good of the world and humanity. However, many do not believe in the myth of the gods and join the Knighthood of Light for a variety of beliefs. For example, because there are some benefits to being a knight, because they may have grown up in areas where the knighthood is stricter and therefore do not want to become a victim of the knights themselves, or because they prefer to be on the safe side of the knights in times of war, or because they really believe that the knights keep law and order and do good, which is certainly the case in many towns and villages. In fact, there are not many places like Excidoma Magna’s undercity where people are just waiting to put citizens into the next human farm. If Cheyenne had grown up in another town, she would probably have had a different opinion of the Knights to begin with, as would many ignorant citizens. When you only see the good, you don’t believe in the bad.
Most of the lower-ranking knights never meet the rulers in person, but of course they know who they are. There is a rank system in which knights of lower rank are commanded by those of higher rank. How many ranks there are depends on the size of the area of operations. At the top of these “normal” knights are the knights of very high rank, who distinguish themselves by always acting in favour of the knighthood and its goals, by not questioning anything and, of course, by being able to hold their own in a fight, by being reasonably intelligent and by being able to lead their subordinate knights well. These “knight bosses” are directly commanded by the rulers and pass on the instructions to the knights under them and take care of the execution. The rulers’ orders come from the royal house, but they are empowered to take care of the continents assigned to them as they see fit. Thus, Halonia, for example, enjoys structure and order under Atropax’ rule, while Luminastrelle, for example, is in chaos under Agamemnon’s rule. Most knights do not know which or that the knighthood has greater goals and for the most part carry out orders faithfully, believing they are doing the right thing and without questioning anything. Moreover, it is known that anyone who refuses to carry out orders or even betrays the knights can expect a severe punishment, up to and including execution. Whoever joins the knights makes a decision for life – one rarely hears of knights who have successfully left the knighthood of light and were able to continue living peacefully afterwards.
The war between the shadow servants and the knights of light thus initially seems to be only a war of convictions. Many knights arrest people (actual criminals, but also innocent people on orders, who are accused by the higher-ranking knights in command of having committed a crime, for example, so that the lower-ranking knights believe they are criminals and they are doing the right thing) and believe that these people are transported to prison, but do not know that most of those arrested alive are now only transported to human farms. Most lower-ranking knights, who of course make up the majority of all knights, don’t even know that human farms exist unless they grew up near one, or were stationed there. The shadow servants, on the other hand, know about it and about the light experiments and want to stop the knights for this additional reason.

Chapter 2
THE "HUMAN RANCH" OR THE LABORATORY IN LUMINASTRELLE
The human ranch is not called that for no reason – this is where the king’s researchers experiment on humans and animals. The living beings are subjected to tests and operations, which mainly have to do with light, but also with genetic manipulation. The latter is also a large area and produces, for example, mutants as combat weapons, or dangerous poisons and other such weapons. People from all over Luminastrelle, who once too often could not pay their taxes, end up here. But that wasn’t always the case. A few years ago, research was officially carried out only with animals, while research with humans had already begun in the shadow of the public. At that time, the laboratory was still open to the public to show what King and Knighthood research produces. At that time there were no taxes and the high-voltage fence around Excidoma Magna did not yet exist. After Cheyenne and Xaver freed their horses from the laboratory, it was closed to the public as a consequence. However, this was used directly to devote more time to human research and to gain test objects, the king introduced taxes for the Lower Townspeople. With the introduction of taxes, the high-voltage fence was also built and the entry restriction was levied, so that no one could “escape”.
PIXODUS/FAIRYBREED
The power of ancient fairy beings. The element pixodus is not related to any of the other elements and could best be compared to light, but pixodus does not manipulate genes and is not toxic to living beings and the environment. Adocaz and the two horses can use this ancient power. Adocaz is a Lupupixon (fairy wolf) and Falconheart and Shiva are equipixon (fairy horses). Fairy breeds are very rare and date back to the Yin-Yang era. They are, so to speak, relics from ancient times, which still exist. Pixon races are in tune with the world and are very intelligent. Their bodies are made of Lumenium and their souls of Umbraurore, although they date back to the Yin-Yang age. Pixodus is a force that can be used in different ways – Adocaz can unleash a turquoise beam that melts Lumenium in its environment, and the Equipixon use their power for speed. Despite the fact that the two horses come from a research laboratory, they are real fairy breeds and not artificial ones. Through research on them, it has been possible to make normal horses just as fast.
Chapter 3
Lumenium
Lumenium is one of the two forces, or energies, that keep this world alive. All of Terrenox Libertia is built on these two. All living beings and objects are made up of this energy. The Lumenium is responsible for the shape of something, so for example, a body is made up of this force, or a tree, or a sword. Each physical form is made of lumenium. Lumenium is white in its non-physical form.
Umbraurore
Umbraurore is the second of the two forces that make up the world. It is responsible for the willpower and life of living beings. As such, it forms souls and energies (e.g., fire, emotions, inner strength,…). It is present in plants, animals and humans, in everything that lives. If someone has a lot of Umbraurore in their body, they can cast elemental magic. Umbraurore is black, but it can only be seen in strong concentrations, otherwise the FP (Umbraurore particles) are not visible to the naked eye.
Healing Spells
There are few people in the world who can cast healing spells. The prerequisite for this is high intelligence and an affinity for lumenium, i.e. if the person has a denser lumenium structure than the average person – for example, this is characterized by stronger bones, better vision and a quick healing ability. Healers can use their body’s own and the lumenium from the environment to heal to cast a healing spell. This must be done with great care. For example, if you were to use the entire lumenium of a flower for a healing spell, it would die and dissolve. Therefore, you should make sure to get only a little lumenium from several sources, which in turn is more complicated to apply. The person therefore needs high intelligence to be naturally easy with formulas, then you have to come up with how to transform Lumenium for healing on your own. There is no teacher and no formula for this. Now one could assume that you can then manipulate Lumenium in general and grow trees, for example – healing spells cost a lot of energy and strength and no one even thinks about creating something with Lumenium. People who tried it got out of control – they drew too much lumenium from the environment and, in combination with their dwindling energy, they lost control of their body, which then converted its own lumenium with it. Due to the strong uncontrollable transformation of the surrounding lumenium and the body lumenium, there was inevitably a reaction, after which the person died and the land in the immediate vicinity with him. Healing spells are therefore dangerous and painful for users and recipients when used.
Shadow Servants
The Shadow Servants are freedom fighters whose goal is to free the world from the rule of the knights and thwart their plans. They firmly believe that the ideals of the Light Knights are false and harmful to the world. Shadow servants are small in number compared to the Light Knights, but they are scattered all over the world. Out of self-protection, they do not identify themselves as shadow servants when they live in cities, but as such they work as spies for their superiors.

Demons
There are Lumenium and Umbraurare demons. They are caused by the lumenium shortage and by the surplus of umbraurare in the world. Lumenium scarcity causes additional damage to the world, for example, mountains collapse and ice melts in Freezeland and the land slowly dies, as it blooms due to sufficient umbraurore, but the Lumenium is not sufficient to maintain the cycle of the world and thus gradually dissolves. Through experiments and murder through war and the Knighthood of Light, more and more dead bodies have been created over the last twenty years. The world, which takes a while to transform the lumenium structure of bodies, has been pushed by the many corpses and the dead land to transform body lumenium more quickly. Normally, Lumenium takes about ten years to decompose and transform a dead, fully grown body. In order to create new life, the world takes much less time, because it is easier to grow than to recycle. So, a new life in the form of a baby, for example, can happen in nine months. Due to the many dead bodies in the world, this cycle accelerated by about half of the normal time, which led to incorrect conversions and Lumenium with the wrong gene structure becoming unusable/no longer able to turn into a solid body. So here we have Lumenium in its unphysical form, unable to ever transform into a body again. However, this genetically modified lumenium tries anyway and so demons are created – a white fire-like nebula of dense lumenium structure, so that you can actually see it that mimics an animal or human body, but will never be able to take on its structure. These beings have no soul, but by angering the world itself, they become aggressive and attack people and animals. Due to their dense Lumenium structure, people and animals can injure themselves despite their non-physical shape – when touched, there is an impact/bounce of the Lumenium structures, comparable to a magnetic repulsion, and so injuries occur, such as small explosions. Due to the dense structure the Lumenium eats its way through the flesh. Now there is the problem that Umbraurore also has to be recycled. There is a basic amount of Umbraurore in the world that circulates with the source of life. Sometimes Umbraurore disappears and new things are generated, but the amount remains in balance. Now that there is more and more death in the world and through the Lumenium demons, who have no souls and cannot use Umbraurore, the Umbraurore of the dead bodies and the world has to look for another occupation, since only so much Umbraurore can be in the source of life. Umbraurore should be transformed only in the source of life and is not intended for permanent residence there, but in the world. Therefore, it looks for purposes, but the world does not offer enough vessels to utilize all the unused Umbraurore. This causes weather fluctuations, people go crazy and some can no longer control their elemental magic, which makes them enormously strong, which is why the Light Knights use them for war. All this is not enough to use the Umbraurore, so demons also form here. These are so concentrated that you can see them. Umbraurore particles are usually not visible to the naked eye. These demons are black as night. Lumenium demons can be found during the day with high defensive power, while Umbraurore demons are more likely to be found at night with low defensive power and greater attack. The attack of Umbraurore demons is much worse than that of Lumenium demons, because it does not attack the body, i.e. skin, bones, etc. but on impact the interior, such as functions of the organs, the soul, emotions, thinking abilities, etc. Here, too, you can imagine it like a magnet explosion, only with frequency particles. Unlike Lumenium demons, the damage of Umbraurore demons cannot be healed and takes years to heal on its own, or for the destroyed Umbraurore used in battle to be regenerated.
Glazios Hypothermia
Glaczio’s organs and inner workings are about 0 degrees Celsius, but his skin is warmer due to the heat of the environment. For example, if it is 20 degrees Celsius outside, it has a skin temperature of about 10 degrees Celsius. This phenomenon arose as a result of a failed experiment with light.

Chapter 4
elemental weapons
Elemental weapons are made especially for their owner and can be of various types. It is possible to add an element to any type of weapon, be it sword, axe, pistol, bow, etc. For this you need a special Umbraurore sphere, which is made of special crystal mixed with Umbraurore. Findings are few and far between and excavation work is costly, so these spheres are very expensive and it is assumed that they are a limited resource. It has not yet been possible to produce the spheres artificially; it is impossible to bind Umbraurore permanently to an object, because normally Umbraurore only binds permanently to living creatures, as souls. One also still puzzles why the Umbraurore attaches itself to the crystal and does not just flow through it as it does with other things in the world, such as plants, water, etc., in order to animate it. If the Umbraurore sphere is brought into contact with a real element after excavation, meaning an element that can be found in the world, it takes on that element. Magic does not count here, as the sphere only takes on the element for a short duration here, but not in the long term. If the Umbraurore sphere comes into contact with a real element, the frequency (FP) of the Umbraurore in the sphere changes and takes on that of that element. There are six normal elements: Fire, water, earth, wind, ice and lightning. There are two more – these, however, cannot be grasped in spheres by a normal human being.
