Archdorf Route 3.2.1 - Front door
Your choice is the front door. Breaking the window would certainly cause too much noise and thus attract the murderer. And if you are unlucky, he will grab you before you can climb out. So you quietly creep down the corridor to the lit room. The humming is getting louder and louder. You summon up all your courage and peek around the corner. In the glow of a chroma candle on a wooden table, you see the back of a tall man in a classy-looking suit standing in the kitchen, apparently mixing liquids. This is your chance! Without wasting time, you sneak into the open room and make your way to the front door, hoping the man won’t turn around. Relieved that the floorboards on the floor don’t creak, you reach the front door and place your hand on the handle, trembling. Please… be open… You push the handle down and try to open the door. To your horror, it doesn’t even move a bit. It is locked.
Suddenly you hear a soft laugh that gets louder and louder. You turn towards the man in the kitchen who made the noise and find that he is slowly turning towards you. “Did the little sheep really think it could escape this way? What a naughty little sheep…” You have to swallow as you see the man from the front. He is wearing a wolf mask and his body is covered in dark red splashes and stains. Slowly he approaches you, a carafe of slightly yellowish liquid in his hand that you can’t identify. You take a step back, but immediately remember the axe in your hand and make a decision. You must now fight for your survival. Gripping your tool tightly, you let out a loud scream as you rush towards the killer. Halfway, your opponent raises his hand and summons water magic, which wraps around your neck and eventually forms a bubble around your head. You did not expect this. The weight of the water knocks you off balance and you stop to avoid falling. Unable to breathe, you drop your axe and, with increasing panic, try to tear the liquid around your head with your hands. To no avail. Water enters your lungs and fills them up more and more. This causes you pain, but in your fight for survival you try to ignore it. You sink to your knees, but the water bubble remains attached to you. Through the clear blue you can see the man coming towards you and stopping in front of you. Even though you can’t see it through the mask, you are sure that he is grinning broadly and enjoying every moment of your suffering. Then he raises his hand with the jar and pours the liquid over your head. It slowly mixes with the water and now you know what it is. Acid. Fear and panic overtake you as your face begins to burn and the water turns red. You try to pull the water away from you with your hands, but in vain. Your fingers begin to bleed and skin peels from them as the acid slowly makes its way into your lungs and you experience the pain of your life. You feel the deadly liquid rip your flesh from your face and eat away at your lungs. Your screams are nipped in the bud and you watch your life pass you by, even though your eyes have already lost sight. You notice how you are getting weaker and your vision is turning black as you fall to the ground. After a while you stop struggling and a few seconds later your suffering comes to an end.
